The focus of this class is on alternative quilt construction techniques that do not involve precision cutting and piecing.  Familiar geometric shapes are sewn together using methods that encourage you to improvise and ad-lib.  We start with some guidelines to take you through a liberating process that will change your approach to piecing.

Learn valuable lessons about design and colour and complete or nearly complete a medium size quilt top by the end of an exciting day.  Enjoy the freedom of cutting fabrics freehand without templates and include your wonderful bold and large-scale prints and leftover scraps.
