Size isn't everything but in this class it's important !  We'll be making small quilts with no side  longer than 30cm. A small format quilt offers a wonderful opportunity to experiment and explore new ideas, designs, techniques, fabrics and colours
We’ll work on structured exercises that explore various design and technique options including raw edge appliqué, fusing, creating texture, using unusual fabrics, and edge finishes for small quilts.

Use machine and / or handwork techniques and make a few small quilts, which may be “major” artworks in their own right or may be references for future larger quilts.  This class can be done with hand sewing only and no machine sewing if preferred.
